After following along with Sadie of Spaghetti Western Sewing's design process on instagram, we are so excited to have the Juno Dress out in the world! Elise was a tester for this pattern, and has been wearing her Juno non-stop ever since. She sewed View A in Porter Heavyweight Organic Cotton and found it to be the perfect fabric to accentuate the structure of the vintage silhouette.

*Sizing Note: Spaghetti Western Sewing's sizing deviates from standard sizing conventions. Juno sizing is selected by bust measurement and spans from 32" (81 cm) to 60.5" (154 cm) with generous ease in all views. A Spaghetti Western Sewing medium is the average bust measurement of women in the United States. The rest of the sizes are distributed across the size range based on pattern grading increases. Please be sure to check the size chart before beginning.
*Please note that the Juno Dress pattern is a separate purchase from Spaghetti Western Sewing. You will need to purchase the PDF pattern from them in order to sew the dress.
If you want the large format printed A0 pattern pages for the Juno Dress, you will find the pattern printing option here.
Pattern Details:
The Juno dress is a PDF sewing pattern inspired by spooky girls, sulking, the smell of sharpened pencils, porches in the rain, and skinned knees.
The Juno dress has a short baby doll cut and ample ease. The dress features a half placket, two collar options, a large back box pleat, and two front views: a flat front and one with a yoke and gathers. The pattern designed to be worn buttoned up. The sewing difficulty level is suitable for intermediate and beyond.
Our Sewing Experience:
Elise was a tester for this pattern and made minimal adjustments for her fit preferences. This pattern is a short dress drafted for someone who is 5'3", so at 5'2", she did not add length, though you may want to add length if you are taller! The only change style change Elise made was to draft a wide hem facing to add a bit more weight to the bottom of the dress and highlight her topstitching.
Additionally, Elise used a remnant of a printed poplin to line her inside collar stand and reduce bulk, although in the end she felt this wasn't totally necessary, and that using Porter throughout will work perfectly!
