3rd Saturday of the month, 1PM - 4PM
There will be no Sewing Basics in December but we have posted the dates for January and February 2025.
The cost of the class including materials is $75. When you register you are signing up for a single class date. Choose your date from the calendar menu.
Classes are intended for adults only.
Come learn how to sew in a fun and supportive environment!
This 3-hour class will teach you the basics of machine sewing. We will cover the parts of a sewing machine, threading the machine, and winding a bobbin. We will also go over different stitch and tension settings.
After a little practice, we will sew a useful tote bag. Fabric material and color may vary from the photos.
You will leave with a finished project and be able to say 'I made it'. We hope this class will help you gain confidence in using a sewing machine and be prepared to take on more sewing projects on your own.
You do not need to bring a machine to the class. We will sew on the Janome machines in our studio.
