In celebration of Me Made May 2025, join us in the shop on Thursday May 1 from 5-7pm to kick off a month of celebrating all of our hand made things.
All of us at EWE, sew and knit all of our own clothes, but we know that the idea of a handmade wardrobe can seem intimidating. We are hosting this event as an opportunity to ask us questions and get advice! We have all been sewing our clothes for many years, and we have honed our making practice in the process.
We can answer all types of questions including:
- How we make the time for sewing in our busy lives
- How we choose what patterns and fabrics to pair together
- How we discover new patterns online
- How we develop our personal style through sewing
We will have some light refreshments to keep us running. If you are planning some projects, this would be great time to get some advice and do some fabric shopping while we stay open 2 hours later than usual!
No registration required. All are welcome.
About Me Made May:
Me Made May is a wardrobe challenge that was started in 2010 by Zoe, sewing blogger of SoZo. Me Made May is meant to be an individual wardrobe challenge, to help you wear your me mades more regularly. It’s important to note that MeMadeMay is not a making challenge. It is not a competition and it’s not about having the most handmade items. It’s meant to be a fun challenge to help you figure out what you love to wear, and how you can meaningfully apply that to your making.
