Description:
The soft and lightweight nature of the baby alpaca fiber, combined with the strength and durability of wool and the stretch and elasticity of nylon, create a versatile and high-quality yarn.
Baby alpaca is prized for its softness and gentle touch, making it ideal for creating garments and accessories that will be close to the skin. The wool content provides added insulation, while the nylon helps to maintain the yarn’s shape and structure. This combination of fibers results in a yarn that is warm, comfortable, and durable, making it perfect for a wide range of projects.
KOS yarn is also a fast and efficient yarn to work with, as the fibers are blown into a “sock.” Whether you’re a seasoned knitter or crocheter or just starting out, you’ll appreciate the ease and speed with which you can create projects with this yarn.Â

Our favorite method for washing all hand knits! Fill a sink or basin with cool water and submerge the fabric in water, gently squeezing out any air bubbles so that the piece can remain under water without being held there. Soak work for 20-30 minutes, allowing fabric to become completely saturated. Remove excess moisture by rolling your fabric between clean, dry towels with light pressure. Lay fabric flat and shape to air dry.
