We are overjoyed to be offering, Embody: A Capsule Collection to Knit and Sew, Jacqueline Cieslack's first book of original knitting and sewing patterns.
Jacqui has been an integral part of the EWE fibers community while working in the shop, teaching classes, publishing patterns and honing her design practice over the past few years. Embody combines Jacqui's core design philosophy that all bodies are deserving of well fitting clothing, and her method of instruction that presents making as as a form of self-care and self-love. We are beyond proud of all her hard work that has culminated in this book.
Embody is beautifully photographed and features 3 core patterns- two knitting and one sewing- and instructions to adapt them into 25 different garments. The patterns are graded for up to a 64" chest and include instructions for a fit customized to your own body.
The sweater pattern in the book is named Deren, after the owner of EWE.
All of the fabric featured in Embody was botanically hand dyed by shop owner Deren, and is available for pre-order on an extremely limited basis.
All of the yarns featured in Embody, Helix, Felix & Mohair Silk from La Biene Aimée, are available for pre-order. We have other yarn options in the shop, which we will be highlighting in the coming weeks.
Embody includes a download code for print-at-home and copy shop sewing patterns. We are offering our in-house PDF printing services as an add-on to the pre-order of Embody. If you select this option, the A0 pages for both views (6 pages) of the Woolfork sewing patterns will be included when your book ships. You save 10% on the printing costs when ordering this way.
