A beautiful boiled wool by Merchant and Mills. This wool is a deadstock fabric, milled in Italy. Overstock/deadstock fabric is excess fabric from fashion designers, movie sets, and fabric mills that is no longer needed for the job it was originally intended for. It is not re order able, so when it’s gone, it’s really gone.
We love this wool for cozy oversized sweaters like the Marlo Sweater or the Toaster Sweater. It is also perfect for many of our favorite jacket patterns, such as the Pekka Jacket, Nova Coat, or a cozy All Well Cardigan Coat.
Note with boiled wool you do not need to finish your edges, you can leave them raw.
We cut in 1/4 yard increments. The amount available refers to how many quarter yard increments we have in stock.
To choose the amount you want enter the number of quarter yard increments you need (rest assured we will cut your cloth in one piece). Example: If you would like 2.5 yards, enter "10" in the box.
