This light weight Black Super stretch denim is very stretchy! Think more like a light stretch woven than an average denim. Due to the super stretchy nature and hand of this fabric, we are less sure of its fiber content. It has a smooth hand with some sheen due to the possible elastane content. You could use this for any pattern that calls for stretchy bottom weight, like the Isle Jeans, Ash Jeans and the ever classic Ginger Jean. We think this super stretchy denim would even work for the Daughter Judy Post Pant!
If you are inspired to give any of these a go, don't forget we can print your PDF pattern and include it in your fabric order
If you are not familiar with the term, deadstock refers to unused, leftover textiles from a previous production run, such as surplus fabric from a fashion brand or an unsold batch from a mill. These materials are often perfectly usable but are considered excess and would otherwise be discarded or sent to a landfill.
*This fabric contains Indigo. Indigo is special. It gives each product made from this fabric a one of a kind appearance that only gets better over time. Please use and wear with care. Indigo may rub off onto fabrics, leather and upholstery. We recommend washing alone first, to make sure any residual indigo dye is washed out*
To prevent 'whiskers' we recommend soaking the fabric in warm water with a splash of white vinegar until fully saturated (about 30 minutes) then washing alone in your machine.
