- Care Instructions: We recommend a pre-soak* and then washing denim by itself in your washing machine with detergent and a splash of vinegar, followed by a regular tumble dry. After your garment is sewn, we recommend machine washing cool, and hanging to dry.
*This fabric contains Indigo. Indigo is special. It gives each product made from this fabric a one of a kind appearance that only gets better over time. To prevent any unwanted streaking in your denim we recommend pre soaking your yardage in a tub with cold water. You can also add vinegar to your presoak to aid in dye setting. The goal of the pre soak is to have your denim thoroughly and evenly wet to prior to washing. After the soak, continue on to your prewash!
