The 24 Days of Making, Doing, and Being Advent Calendar is a beautiful deck of 24 cards that's intended to encourage slowing down in the midst of a busy season.
Each day features a small piece of artwork and a reflection. The card deck is made to be brought out year after year, using the daily prompts as a way to slow down, take time, and be present.
The calendar can be hung up with twine and clips, or used more like a card deck, making a daily ritual out of pulling a new card every day.
While based on Northern European/Western festive traditions, 24 Days of Making, Doing, and Being is a secular calendar, largely centered around the general winter season, taking cues from the natural world and its rhythms.
This time of year has a tendency to make us feel like we should do more. This isn’t a calendar solely of projects, it is largely about taking the time and intention to be—both with our creative selves but with each other.
The deck consists of 24 different 2.75" x 4.75" cards that are printed in Seattle, Washington with gold and silver ink on black paper. The cards come packaged in a box, so that they can be easily stored them and used again.
