The Oxford Punch Needle comes in a box and includes a 31 page instruction handbook and stitch gauge. It features a comfortable wooden handle, designed for easy gripping. There are no moving parts to break, and only one hole to thread. Needle is an electropolished stainless steel which glides through rug backing and monks cloth.
Designed for use with various weights yarn and fabric strips.
- Use the regular needle for bulky yarns or up to 1/4" wide fabric strips, or multiple strands of finer yarns.
- Use the fine needle for thinner yarns such as worsted, sport, and fingering weights.
To choose the appropriate size needle think about what weight yarn or fiber you are using and how long you want the loops to be. The lower the number, the taller the loops will be.
#10 Regular makes 1/4" loops
#14 Fine, the Mini makes 1/8" loops
