Cricket Looms are inexpensive, portable, easy to operate and simple to warp. This versatile little loom can be used to create an endless variety of woven articles from scarves to napkins. Two Cricket Looms will be used during the class, a 10-inch and a 15-inch. This is a hands-on class and you will weave a mini mat to take home. 

Skills needed:

  • enthusiasm

What you'll learn:

  • weaving terms
  • how to warp a rigid heddle loom
  • how to make a proper shed and weave
  • how to finish small weavings

Materials: *

  • yarns and looms to use during class are provided with the class fee
  • on class day you can purchase a 15" Cricket Loom and get 5% off your purchase

Andrea opened her weaving and textile design studio in Fry’s Spring in 2004. She learned to weave in New York City, and attended FIT and Parsons while working full time as a journalist. Bansky is her hero.
