Sunday, November 20: 10 AM - 4 PM at our Main St. shop
The Georgia Tee has become a total wardrobe staple for us in the shop. We have all sewn multiple versions of the top and the dress, and we love how versatile it is!
The Georgia is a perfect closet staple. A basic, boxy tee style that comes in a top, dress, and midi length, and can be used a base pattern for endless variations. Make this style in various weight fabrics for year-round wear. Perfectly scooped neckline hits right at the collarbone and doesn’t show bra straps. Substantial cuffs give weight and luxury to the piece but are very straightforward to construct.
In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of sewing a garment for themselves, as well as learning how to read, understand, and follow a sewing pattern. Students will choose their preferred view of the Elizabeth Suzann Georgia and we will do our best to fully complete the garment in the time allowed. Students will leave class with the confidence to sew a garment project on their own.
Sizing Details:
The Georgia Pattern is drafted to fit a 29" to 58" bust and 33"-62" hip. If you have questions about sizing please contact the shop.
See a detailed size guide and finished garment measurements for this pattern here
We have made every effort to be size inclusive in selecting our Wardrobe Basics patterns. During class we can grade between the sizes included in the pattern but we will not have enough time to completely grade up or down to a size not included in the pattern. The Georgia Pattern is drafted to fit a 29" to 58" bust and 33"-62" hip. If you have questions about sizing please contact the shop.

Our Brussels Washer and Yarn Dyed Brussels Washer are perfect. After working out any fit issues you can then sew another Georgia in any fabric you want.
Instructor, Elise is shown wearing her 'muslin' of the Tee view in Yarn Dyed Brussels Washer (Black). She is also shown wearing the Dress view in Athena Linen Gauze.
Jessamy wears the Georgia Tee in Merchant & Mills Gingham linen and the Georgia Tee in Sahara Linen.
