Our Sewing Experience:
Elise found the Sommer Camisole to be such a quick and satisfying project. She sewed the cropped view which hits right at the natural waist, perfect for wearing with high waisted pants (she is pictured here wearing the Arthur pants from Sew Liberated). The built in bra adds a nice amount support both for lounging around the house and layering under other pieces. Elise sewed a size L but will probably size down next time for a more compressive fit. She found this pattern to be very approachable, even for someone who is new to sewing with knits. A detail she really appreciated was that the pattern gave recommended machine settings for the zig-zag stitches used in each step. So helpful!
Deren is not a very confident sewing with knits but found the construction of this top very easy. Deren loves sewing and wearing the bralette. It is very comfortable and works well under most of her clothes. She is pictured wearing the bralette with a Hallon Dress.
