There is a lot to love about our Magnolia yarn. It is a super soft 3 ply fingering weight of 50% Alpaca, 30% Merino, and 20% silk. Better yet, this yarn is made from US fibers and spun at a 100 year old mill in PA. The combination of fibers dyes beautifully with a bit of natural sheen.

The yarn is lovely knit on a larger needle, at a looser gauge (for shawls and such) or knit at a tighter gauge for wear against the skin garments.

100 gram skeins with approximately 405 yards

7 sts = 1" on US3

We dye our yarn in small batches at our shop studio. We suggest purchasing all of the yarn you require for a project at one time. For some projects you may want to alternate skeins as you knit for the best color blending.

We do our best to capture the true color of the skeins in our photographs but looking at a digital screen is not always the same as seeing the color in person.

Currently we have skeins naturally dyed in gradients from;

Logwood - Deep, Medium, and Light

Lac - Deep, Medium, and Light

Rhubarb - Deep and Medium

Madder - Deep, Medium, and Light

Indigo - Deep, Medium, and Light

Cutch/Chestnut - Medium and Light

Pure - Undyed
