In this workshop we will unlock the mystery of short rows. Knitted short rows are commonly used to do shaping in knitwear. In this class you will learn 2 methods for short row shaping, 'wrap & turn, and German short row techniques.

Preparation required:

Prior to class, you should knit 2 swatches using a light colored worsted or bulky weight yarn. For each swatch, cast on 22 stitches and knit back and forth in stockinette stitch for about 2 inches ending on a wrong side row. Do not bind off and bring the swatches with you. You will practice short row shaping on your swatches.

Please familiarize yourself with our class policies before enrolling.
