.The Crosstown Crescent Bag is an everyday essential. Small enough to wear comfortably but roomy enough for the things you need to carry with you. The bag is lined with an interior zippered pocket and an adjustable strap.
Our bundle includes all of the material and notions you need to sew one of these cute bags. This is a fairly easy pattern and the designer has a full sew-along video to guide you the entire way. The zippers are easy to sew (so don't let that scare you) and the seams are finished with bias binding for a tidy inside.
Please note that the Crosstown Crescent bag pattern is a separate purchase from gracomakes. The pattern pieces need to be printed on 8.5" x 11' paper at home. (The pattern is only 7 pages so super quick to tape together.)
Included in the bundle:
- 1/2 yard of waxed canvas in your choice of color.
- 1/2 yard of lining fabric
- coordinating thread to the outer fabric
- 8" YKK black zipper
- 18" YKK black zipper
- 1.5" YKK tri-bar plastic glide
- 2 yards black 1/2" double fold bias binding
- 1.5 yards 1.5" black cotton webbing
- 14 sewing needle
- packed in our exclusive EWE project bag
*Substitution notice! For the black bag bundle, we have replaced the black and cream Star Ikat lining with cream and black square Ikat. We unexpectedly sold out of the original lining. The cream and black Ikat is the same lining included in the Curry color bundle
Deren loves her new bag! It is just the right size and so easy to carry. The waxed canvas is really special. It has a very nice hand, not overly waxy. Deren cut the pocket bag from the waxed canvas instead of the lining fabric, so the pocket is a bit sturdier. She recommends that you do the same. Deren added some cute labels to her bag. If you want to do the same you can shop our labels here.
