Description: This 2-part class will walk knitters through Leila Raabe's Bough, a classic pattern with a fluffy pom-pom and an optional matching cowl. Knit in a squishy worsted weight yarn, you won't want to take this hat off all winter!

Skill level: Beginning-Intermediate - This class is perfect for someone who is beginning to feel comfortable with basic skills (knitting, purling) and wants help with cabling and hat construction.

Homework: Prior to the start of the first class, knitters should work the pattern up to the point where the cabling begins. Specifically: on page 5 of the pattern, follow the instructions to cast on, work the ribbing, work the increase round, and knit the first 3 rounds of the cable chart. The pattern suggests a twisted rib pattern, but you can do a simply 1x1 rib if you prefer. Drop by the shop sometime before November 4 if you need help starting the project!
