Brioche: Basics and Beyond - Saturday, March 17 & 24
Description: Learn to knit eye-popping brioche patterns. This 2-part, 4 hour class will walk knitters through Bristol Ivy’s Windrow, a beautiful cowl that makes a great first brioche project. Students will learn the basics of the brioche stitch (1-color or 2-color according to their preference) and how to increase and decrease in brioche, giving them all the skills necessary to make this lovely, squishy cowl!
Date: Noon - 2PM, Saturday, March 17 & 24
Skill level: Intermediate-Advanced - This class is perfect for someone who is confident with basic skills (knitting & purling, increasing & decreasing) and wants to learn a fun new technique! Familiarity with cabling is helpful but not necessary.

What You’ll Learn:
- The brioche stitch (1-color and 2-color)
- Increasing and decreasing in brioche
- Reading a brioche pattern chart
- 300-350 yards of worsted-weight yarn (one color 175 yards in each of two colors)
