When selecting an interfacing for your project, keep in mind the fabric and project you are making. This woven interfacing from Bosal is a great garment weight, providing some strength and structure to your interfaced pieces.
Tips for Fusing and getting a proper bond:
Interfacing can be preshrunk prior to using by soaking in hot water for 15 min (do not stir or agitate) and then hang to dry.
The time and heat settings required will depend on the thickness and content of the fabric you are fusing. The fabric must be able to withstand the heat setting for 8-12 seconds. To properly fuse interfacing to your fabric use a pressing motion, do not glide your iron while fusing. It is best to use a setting with some steam or use a lightly damp press cloth.
We recommend always testing the interfacing on a small scrap of fabric prior to fusing your pattern pieces to help achieve the proper iron settings.
