Are you ready to start sewing your own Handmade Wardrobe? The Florence Pants are part of our Wardrobe Basics Series. They are a wardrobe staple and a great introduction to pants sewing.
You will want a closet full of Florence Pants in a variety of fabrics.
Pattern Details:
The Florence Pant is the easiest breeziest wide leg pant in the land! Use this classic, building-block pant as a jumping-off point for a variety of pant styles that will serve you well for years.
A simple wide leg silhouette with a high rise. The Florence has a slim waist that isn’t bulky around the midsection but also has ease and room to move comfortably, making these pants you’ll want to wear time and time again.
These pants can be sewn in a variety of fabrics from a soft linen to a heavy canvas depending upon your desired look. They can also be sew and worn as pajama bottoms.
Sizing Details
This pattern is offered in a size range XXS-4XL and three length options (Short, Regular, and Tall).
See detailed size guide and finished garment measurements for the pattern here.
We have made every effort to be size inclusive in selecting our Wardrobe Basics patterns. During class we can grade between the sizes included in the pattern but we will not have enough time to completely grade up or down to a size not included in the pattern. The Florence Pants are sized to fit a waist from 23" - 51.5" and a hip of 33" to 61.5". If you have questions about sizing please contact the shop.

We recommend purchasing a nice, but inexpensive solid fabric in a cotton, linen or cotton/linen blend for the class. You should consider this first pair a 'wearable' muslin. Our Brussels Washer and Yarn Dyed Brussels Washer are perfect. After working out any fit issues you can then sew another pair in any fabric you want.
Instructor, Deren if shown wearing her 'muslin' in Yarn Dyed Brussels Washer (Oatmeal) and her second pair in Nomad Linen Twill (Caramel).
*Students receive 10% off any supplies purchased from EWE Fibers for the class.

Pre-wash, dry, and press your fabric as needed before class.
